Medical & Exercise Disclaimer

General Educational Content

Information on the Active Recovery Solutions website, social media accounts, emails, videos, worksheets, and self-guided programs is intended for general educational purposes. It is not a substitute for an individualized examination, diagnosis, treatment plan, or emergency medical care.

Professional Relationship

Viewing content, asking a general question, or purchasing a self-guided program does not by itself establish a physical therapist-patient relationship. A relationship may be established only when Active Recovery Solutions accepts you as a client, receives required intake and consent documents, and provides an appropriate professional service.

Online Assessment Limitations

An online movement assessment is a focused virtual service. It may include history questions, observation of movement, training recommendations, and guidance about next steps. It does not reproduce every component of a comprehensive hands-on or in-person evaluation. The provider may recommend in-person examination, imaging, medical consultation, emergency care, or another professional when appropriate.

Exercise Risks and Responsibilities

Physical activity involves risk. You are responsible for providing truthful health information, using safe equipment and surroundings, following instructions, and stopping if you feel unsafe. Do not perform a movement that you cannot safely complete without physical assistance.

When to Stop and Seek Care

Stop exercising and seek appropriate medical care for severe or rapidly increasing pain; chest pain; severe shortness of breath; fainting; sudden weakness; new or progressive numbness; loss of bowel or bladder control; major trauma; signs of infection; or any symptom that feels urgent or medically concerning. Call 911 for emergencies.

No Guarantee

Results vary. Active Recovery Solutions does not guarantee pain relief, injury prevention, return to sport, return to a particular lift or activity, or any specific health or performance result.

Geographic and Licensing Limitations

Clinical virtual services are available only when Active Recovery Solutions is legally authorized to provide the service in the jurisdiction where the client is physically located. Availability may change based on licensure, compact privileges, applicable law, and clinical appropriateness.
